Antique Chinese hand painted blue and white Nanking porcelain covered sugar bowl, Qing Dynasty, probably Daoguang circa 1820 - 1830. Bowl has landscape coastal scene with trees and pagodas. Sides with handles ofinterlacing branches. Cover further with landscape scene and completed with tea glazed rim. No apparent markings. Measures approx. 6 7/8" height x 7" width x 4 3/8" depth overall including cover and handles.Provenance: Acquired from a Palm Beach Gardens, Florida private collectiong. Purchased from Phyllis and Louis Gross, South Orange, New Jersey for $275.00 in 1979.
