Shuzan (Japanese, 19th Century to 20th Century). A bronze antique sculpture. A figural Meiji Period work depicting a seated chimpanzee monkey holding a pipe in its right hand and an inro box in its left hand. Rectangular Japanese language foundry cartouche stamp to verso signed SHUZAN. Felt lining to underside.
Dimensions: 6 X 5 X 5 in.
Condition: Good overall condition with normal surface wear and patina. Estate fresh to the market.
