Features a Hague School style forest landscape, similar to the American Hudson River school. The work depicts a river with rapids flowing through a forest with rocks and distant mountains to background. Having signature and date to verso BETTY DE JONG 1888 with impressed nameplate affixed to front. Presented in gilt wood frame.
