Walter Addison, New York, 1914-1982. Three small tiles including 2 matching decorated with flowers measuring 4" square x 2 1/4"H, both in good condition, and a smaller tile decorated with a fish and a star, circa 1940-60. The lot also includes a hand painted octopus decorated plate signed Addison, 10" diameter, with edge chip (see photos). Provenance: Consigned by family. All artwork was found in his cottage in Washington Depot, Connecticut, on the banks of the Shepaug River, where he lived with his wife Rhoda from 1965 until his death in 1982.
