Description
Walter Addison, New York, 1914-1982. Grouping of 3 shallow circular plates, all hand painted, 2 decorated with spiders and 1 with owl in low relief, each with "A" monogram on base - all in very good condition with no damage or repairs, circa 1940-70. The largest measures 8 1/8" diameter. Provenance: Consigned by family. All artwork was found in his cottage in Washington Depot, Connecticut, on the banks of the Shepaug River, where he lived with his wife Rhoda from 1965 until his death in 1982.
