A grouping of over 200 hand painted advertising cards for various companies, most addresses appear to be NY City, Long Island and NJ locations, early 20th century, one dated 1929. Most in very good condition. The cards were used to display the individual companys' advertising on a large screen in theaters via an opaque projector which operates with a series of mirrors and prisms to project the image on a large screen. The largest card measures 8 3/8" x 8 5/8".
