Description
Three pieces of American cobalt blue-decorated salt glazed stoneware, 19th century, comprising a 1-gallon Maryland cylindrical jar, attributed to Peter Herrmann, Baltimore, decorated with a split stem clover motif; a 1 1/2-gallon Cortland, New York jar, stamped 'CORTLAND', decorated with a floral motif below and a 1/2-gallon cake crock with associated lid, each decorated with stylized floral motifs.
Dimension:Height of cake crock 4 1/2in; diameter 8in; height of Cortland jar 9in; diameter 7 3/4in; height of Maryland jar 9 3/4in; diameter 6 1/2in.

Condition
Each with typical discoloration and flas from glazing and firing. The cake crock with discoloration to the body, small chips and fleabites. There is a vertical hairline approximately 4". The lid with a small chip to the knob. The Corland jar with scattered marks, wear, discoloration and a vertical hairline crack to the reverse, measuring approximately 4". The Maryland jar with a small chip loss to the squared rim and a large 'Y' shaped hairline to the side between the clover motifs.
