Description

CONTINENTAL MARQUETRY SETTEE
Continental, late 19th century, mahogany. Tablets inlaid to the top rail with matching tablets to the front rail, with geometric inlaid splats and down swept armrests over the padded seat, on turned and tapering legs.
32 1/2 x 19 x 35 1/4 in. (82.6 x 48.3 x 89.5 cm.)

Condition

The settee is structually sound. There is an old quality repair to the front right arm support. There are two small veneer losses at the end of the rolling armrest to the left side with some edge scratches up the inside-edge of that same arm.
