Description
Collection of late 19th/early 20th century United State military insignia including: 1.) Group of 12-World War I collar disc (6-missing back screw plates). 2.) Group of 12-late 19th century Pennsylvania uniform insignia with enameled keystone centers. Ten of these lack back screw plates. 3.) Group of 16 late 19th/early 20th century uniform insignia with some exhibiting post backs and some pin backs. 4.) Group of 8 (buttons and other parts) for late 19th century US spike helmets. 5.) National Guard of Pennsylvania marksman's medal with 5 year drop. 6.) National Guard of Pennsylvania medal with 1899 bar and 1900 and 1901 1st class marksman bars. 7. Solid cast OHIO belt plate. Many pieces exhibit residual Styrofoam on reverse from previous mounting to display board. Provenance: Eugene T.
