Lionel Prewar Standard Gauge Classic 411E Two - Tone Brown State Set with Set Box/Interior Boxes, including two - tone brown twin-motored 408E Locomotive, 412 Pullman California, 413 Pullman Colorado, 414 Pullman Illinois and 416 Observation New York, all in C8 minus overall condition. Given the diecast journals, this is more than likely the set manufactured by Lionel in 1930. There is a very small paint chip on the roof of the 408E, otherwise this Set is near perfect. Absolutely no touch ups anywhere. There is light rust on the Passenger Car wheels and couplers. The original boxes are as follows: 411E Set Box with great labels, but some repairs and taped flaps, with two flaps detached but present; 408E Locomotive box with correct 408E brown faint lettering; 412 original box with 412 brown lettering; 413 box with 413 brown lettering; 416 box with 416 brown lettering; and duplicate 416 box with 416 special green lettering. There is no specific 414 brown passenger car box. The Locomotive box and car boxes show light repairs. This is a phenomenal 411E Brown State Set that is a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase.
