Description
Rare c. 1940's tin coin bank or collection can issued by the "Ladies Penny Charity Society of Greater New York", organized in 1920 to "provide support and financial aid to worthy yet needy Jewish Families". Double-sided label is written in both English and Yiddish. Dimensions: H 4.75" x W 3.5" x D 1.75" Condition: Can with one bullet hole to the Hebrew side. Toning and spots of soiling to label, natural patina and finish loss to metal.

All the items in this auction remain at our Annex Gallery in Bridgeport, CT for pickup or shipping. Items must be picked up or shipped in the time frame of Wednesday, April 5th - Friday, April 14th, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS.
