After Gaspare Tagliacozzi, Italian, 1545 to 1599, a drawing on paper depicting the so-called Italian method of nasal reconstruction when a patient wears a harness that keeps his nasal area in contact with the incised skin of his arm for a long period of time, first published in 1597.
