The Blues Brothers (1980) Prop Concert Poster W/LOA (Framed) - This is an original vintage 3-color prop concert poster made for the 1980 musical comedy film, The Blues Brothers. The film stars John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd and is based on their iconic characters on the NBC variety series, Saturday Night Live. The film has become a cult classic over the years, and in 2020 was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." Posters like the one offered in this lot feature prominently in the film when the band is finally reunited for the unforgettable orphanage benefit concert, attended by the "Good ol' Boys" and scores of Illinois State Police. This particular poster was made for the production buy ultimately not used, and is thus in excellent condition. The poster is framed and comes with a letter of authenticity.
