Gekko Ogata (Japanese, 1859-1920), Three Woodblock Prints
circa 1892-1895, three woodblock prints from the series "Fifty-four Chapters of the Tale of Genji," includes chapters 12, 42, and 46 from the much celebrated novel by Murasaki Shikibu written in 1000 AD about the adventures and exploits of Prince Genji, each print has been professionally framed with UV conservation glass in identical manner, not examined outside of the frame.
