WALLACE HESTER, (British, 1866 - 1942). A Flaw In The Title, circa 1910, Etching after the original painting by Walter Dendy Sadler (English, 1854 - 1923). Pencil signed lower margin by both the original artist and engraver. With artist's proof stamp. Mounted, framed and glazed. Not examined out of frame. ARTIST PROFILE: Engraver, caricaturist and etcher; son of engraver Edward Gilbert Hester (d.1903), who taught him engraving; exhibited at the Paris Salon, 1905 and later, and at the Royal Academy 1897-1904; contributed portraits to Vanity Fair, some 54 of which are held by the UK's National Portrait Gallery. - 20 x 15 in; frame: 36 x 34 in
