VICTORIAN WOMAN HOLDING AN URN FIGURAL STEM KEROSENE STAND LAMP, frosted colorless font with engraved floral decoration, raised on a figural standard featuring a woman holding an urn on her shoulder, metal square base, period brass collar with shoulder plate. Fitted with a period lip burner and colorless lip chimney. Topped with a conical acid-etched gas shade depicting a shepherd tending his flock next to a log cabin. Maker unverified. Fourth quarter 19th century. 18 3/4" H to top of shade, 12 1/4" H to top of collar, 5" SQ base. Shade: 4 3/8" H, 4 7/8" D fitter.

Condition
Excellent condition overall with some wear to the standard; some light corrosion to the top of the brass connector; shade having overall roughness and flaking to the fitter and top rim, fitter having a sliver chip.
