ASIAN: Two rooster themed Japanese woodblock prints, the first by Kono Bairei (Japanese 1844-1895) late 19th C. diptych of cock and hen from "Bairei hyakucho gafu" (album of 100 Birds of Bairei), artist seal left border, framed and matted behind glass, wear consistent with age, vertical crease through center, small area of wormage on lower border center, not examined out of frame, ss: 8" h. x 10" w; the second by Takahashi Biho (Japanese, 1873 - ?) "Rooster and Hen" 1930's, a black hen stand in front of a white rooster with black tail feathers, unframed, slight creasing at corners, stamped "made in Japan, No. 66" verso, ss: 9" h. x 8 3/4" w.
