A pair of 8 1/2 inch Mallard heads on a 9 by 11 1/2 inch plaque by Wildfowler Decoys (1939-1957), Old Saybrook, CT. These plaques are rarely found and were made in limited numbers by these early Wildfowler craftsmen and woman. Original paint with minor wear. Provenance: Richard and Marion Harris (principal decoy painters at Wildfowler, Old Saybrook) Robert Harris- (son of Richard and Marion) Cape Cod collector.
