Chinese Kangxi ca 1700 Blue & White Porcelain Bowl with a 4 panel design of flowering stems alternating with "Antiques, the inside with 4 vertical flowers, the base with a leaf mark inside double rings all in underglaze blue. Height 2 3/4 inches (7 cm.) X diameter 5 inches (12.7 cm.). NOTE: This Chinese shape bowl was known in the 17th Century Netherlands as a "Klapmuts" Bowl named after the Dutch hat of the same period.
