FIVE MULTI-COLOR OVERLAY GLASS SNUFF BOTTLES
Chinese, early to mid-20th century, glass. Including a snowstorm translucent ground with multicolor overlay bottle of vases, censers, and baskets inscribed with auspicious symbols, lingzhi, and shou symbols and flanked by very unusual, tripod "handles", the jadeite stopper with metal collar and spoon; and one in green, pink, blue, and cranberry overlay snowstorm forming a lily pond scene of ducks and butterflies with apple green and brass stopper and spoon. Two (2) milk glass bottles with four-color overlay of vases, each containing different flora with cobalt glass and agate stoppers; and a yellow, blue, white, and green overlay bottle reverse-painted with swallows in clouds to one side, a rabbit and turnip to the other, the overlay replicating each scene, with aventurine stopper and spoon.
