American. 1940s. Walnut case. Brass clock. 8-day spring driven movement. Features luminous hand set, center seconds and fast/slow adjustment. Case is stamped on the inside "347733". Dial marked, "Chelsea Clock Co. Boston, U.S. Army Clock Message Centre, M1". Clasp is stamped "Eagle Made in USA". Original finish. Original leather strap. Some radium loss on the extreme ends of the second hand. This clock was running at the time of cataloguing, but its service history is unknown. From the Skip Kerr Collection. 5.5" overall diameter. 4.5" Dial.
