French Provincial Walnut Armoire

late 18th century, the molded and domed cornice with canted corners, above a case fitted with two long doors, each fitted with three panels, the smaller middle one fluted, flanked by canted stop-fluted pilasters, raised above a shaped apron on scrolled toes.

In overall good condition. The case is sturdy and solid, and free of notable movement in its joints. There is normal shrinkage, mars, abrasions and blemishes. The interior does not include any shelves. There is a locking mechanism to secure the left door. A right door lock is present. There is no key. The piece is joined with pegs, mortises and tenons.
