late 18th century, the domed and padded back mechanized to recline and fitted with removable shaped and padded sides, joined by padded, scrolling arms fitted with retractable metal rods, to accommodate a tray, to the cushioned seat, raised on fluted, tapering square legs ending in drum feet, upholstered in Fortuny fabric.

Condition
In good overall condition. Sturdy. Minor old dings and imperfections from age and use. Some wear to the arm tops and light fading to the fabric. Retains a rich patina to the wood.
