Special Notes on The Print: This series was originally Published by Eijudo in the mid 1830's. The keyblocks were printed in blue. Each was signed by the artist "Zen Hokusai Iitsu" The placement of the cartouches and seals is indicated in the notes which follow. Visiting the Oyama temple during the Tokugawa period was a popular recreation for the Edo townsmen. The pilgrims visited the sanctuary dedicated to the Sekision Daigongen at the Oyama temple located in the southeastern part of the Tanzawa mountain range in Sagami province present day KANAGAWA. Before paying homage to the sanctuary pilgrims usually purified themselves by bathing under Roben Waterfall. The title cartouche is upper left followed by the artist signature and the usual two seals the circular Kawame and the square seal of the publisher.

The print itself is a very good color impression and has never been framed excellent overall with no issues to report
