A 19th century Birge, Peck & Co. double decker shelf clock. 8-day weight driven Strap Brass time and strike movement with painted metal dial and Roman numerals. Mahogany case with molded crown over a door with clear dial glass and lower reverse painted glass, lower door with reverse painted glass, flanked by turned pilasters on flat plinth. Paper label 40% intact. Older refinishing with minor wear, minor veneer loss, restored center glass, minor dial wear, running when cataloged. 34 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $200-300
