Travel narrative of a journey east through what is now Russia, compiled, and translated from the German accounts of Samuel Gottlieb Gmelin, Peter Simon Pallas, and I.I. Lepkhin originally published as "Allgemeine geschichte der neuesten entdeckungen." Condition
Binding rubbed, some wormholes; light foxing, several leaves toned; occasional soiling, dampstaining; vol. 4 map and final gathering with stains and tears; overall very good.
