Not listed in OCLC/WorldCat. A scarce booster booklet for the city of Livermore, published under 10 years after the railroad had solidified the future of this former latifundia. "The following work, as its name indicates, is intended to give reliable information to the people of the Pacific Coast, and the country at large, regarding the Livermore Valley. It has been the aim of its editor and contributors to give in plain, concise terms, just such particulars as it would be necessary for the intending immigrant to know. Nothing has been highly colored, or overdrawn, every statement made being backed beyond reach of doubt or contradiction, by reliable statistics, compiled by disinterested parties." Livermore doth protest too much, methinks.
