Group of Five English Inlaid Mahogany Tea Caddies, 19th c., three of octagonal form, one rectangular; and one oval, Largest Octagonal- H.- 4 7/8 in., W.- 8 3/8 in., D.- 4 3/4 in. (5 Pcs.)
Condition
All boxes are worn with varying levels of surface scratches and dings. The rectangular box with floral designs has a large crack through the proper left side front.. The octagonal floral box has some cracking and repair to the front. The shell designed box has some shrinkage separation and wear to the finish. The box with the figures has a crack across the top and the designs are worn. The oval box is heavily scratched. Wear is consistent with age and use.
