Two Antique English Tea Caddies
third quarter 19th century, both having rectangular forms, with inlaid escutcheon and dual lidded interior compartments, the largest in mahogany veneer with central cup well (5 1/2 x 12 x 6 in.); the second in tiger maple with light and dark wood inlaid borders, sarcophagus form lid (5 1/2 x 9 1/8 x 5 1/2 in.).

Compartments with remnants of likely original tin lining; both with some inlay and veneer loss; smaller form missing pull to one compartment lid, shrinkage crack to upper lid interior, and hinges reset; larger form with crack to well.
