Tiffany Studios was a decorative arts studio founded in New York by Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) son of Charles Lewis Tiffany who established one of the world’s premier luxury brands, Tiffany & Co.

Louis Comfort Tiffany always showed immense interest in the natural world (flowers, foliage, fruits, insects, etc.), and he employed a large team of designers and artisans who would carry out his nature-inspired Art Nouveau works.

One of his most important designers, Clara Driscoll, probably created the daffodil lamp design in the first decade of the 20th c.
