Native American, Southwestern United States, Peeposh / Piipaash (Maricopa), Santa Clara and Acoma Pueblo, ca. early to late 20th century CE. A collection of 5 handmade and painted pottery vessels from Native American tribes of the southwest, including 4 pots and a basket shaped vessel. All are hand painted with geometric or floral patterns on red or buff grounds. One pot signed "GPR / ACOMA / NM" is deeply etched with linear motifs on the lower half of the hemispherical body. Size of tallest: 4" Diameter x 5" H (10.2 cm x 12.7 cm)

Condition
Handle repaired and reattached to basket and chip to rim of etched redware pot, rest are intact. Some surface wear and fading to painted pigments. Signatures are faints and somewhat legible. Old inventory labels on bases of each.
