East Asia, China, Song Dynasty, ca. 960 to 1279 CE. A fabulous ensemble of 3 pottery bowls, all boasting a lovely celadon glaze. First, the largest presents slanted walls that rise to a gently flared rim, all sitting upon a ring-form foot. The interior walls are adorned with an incised floral design. Also exhibiting a ring-shaped foot, the next vessel displays a flat bottom and straight walls that gradually spread to a slightly flared rim above a shallow basin. An incised circle embellishes the center of its basin. Last, the final dish features a concave base and curved walls with a zigzag motif relief decorating the exterior. Size of largest (all close to the same size): 4.5" Diameter x 1.9" H (11.4 cm x 4.8 cm)

Condition
Largest repaired from several pieces with break lines visible. All have expected nicks, chips, and pitting. Otherwise, 2 smaller are intact and all are excellent. Lovely craquelure to glaze of largest.
