A Russian silver-gilt and shaded enamel three-handled cup Partially obscured hallmarks likely for Feodor Rückert, Moscow, 1896-1908

The body decorated with foliate and floral motifs, and lobed sections depicting swans, the handles of bird form, with eyes, beak, and plumage, also decorate with foliate motifs, engraved to underside, "W.S.G./ 1812-1903," marked at lower rim.

great condition overall; the shaded enamel is largely intact, with some occasional minor scattered losses (particularly to bottom of the handles, some leafage issuing from the birds' mouths, and along some borders / lip); only some minor touch-ups to the scattered losses revealed under UV light; persistent tarnish to silver gilt, to interior and base / underside; some minor rubbing to silver gilt commensurate with age
