English 19th c. Pair of candlesticks, turned from fruitwood. Designed to be carried/travelled with, each candlestick unscrews into 2 parts, the sticks are placed into one of the bases, then the 2 bases screw securely together. Because of their shape, they were known as Brighton Buns. Measures 4"x4"x2". Weight 7 oz. PROVENANCE: A Private London/Charleston Estate.
