Originally purchased by Jack's parents from F.A.O. Schwarz, New York and given to him Christmas Day, 1950! Wesa-Liliput 13mm train set no. 424 with track expansion set no. 452, trains with minimal wear having always been cared for since new, paint with great gloss and only minute scattered areas of paint loss and scratching, a great example, boxes with light to moderate wear as expected with age, tanning and aging to boxes, complete with original paperwork, please refer to photographs.
Each 9 1/2" x 13 5/8" x 1 3/8".
From the original childhood toy collection of Jack Pillar, Mystic, Connecticut. A gentleman who's love for collecting and caring of toys began as a child. One of thirty-five lots in the auction from his childhood originally purchased by his parents.
