A Chinese blue and white lidded jar
early 19th century
Decorated with butterflies, scrolling flowers, and vines throughout body; with four evenly-spaced white-ground cartouches featuring 'double happiness' character to upper body. With previous collector note to underside of lid; four-character mark to underside. Sold with associated wooden stand.
