LLOYD, Harold (b. 1893-1971). Signed gelatin silver portrait photograph. [Hollywood, ca. 1920s]. Large portrait of Lloyd, inscribed by him in white ink in the lower right corner: “To Olympia Theatre and John E. Hampton, Prop. All best wishes from Harold Lloyd”. Approximately 14 x 11”. Toned, some soiling to upper left corner (not affecting Lloyd’s image), portions of the inscription are faint, with 1 mild horizontal crease. Near fine. The Olympia Theatre was a silent film theater in Cambridge, MA, that featured several of the legendary silent comedian’s films.
