A graphic and visually interesting offset lithograph on transparent polyester (mylar) titled Cliche Verre designed by American artist Robert Rauschenberg. Showcasing a collection of hand drawn, light printed artworks to be exhibited at The Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) July 12-August 21, 1980. Copyright The Drawing and Print Club Founders Society of Detroit Institute of Arts. Rauschenberg was an American painter and graphic artist whose early works anticipated the Pop art movement. Rauschenberg is well known for his Combines, a group of artworks which incorporated everyday objects as art materials and which blurred the distinctions between painting and sculpture.
