AMERICAN COIN SILVER TEASPOONS, LOT OF TEN, comprising a set of six backwards-tipped fiddle handle example by Thomas J. Megear of Wilmington, Delaware (active 1831-1832), and a set of four forward-tipped fiddle handle examples by Wood & Hughes of New York City, NY (active 1845-1899), each with personalized engraving to handle. Each with maker's mark, Megear spoons marked "STANDARD" within banner. Together with a marked sterling teaspoon by George W. Shiebler & Co. of New York City, NY. Eleven (11) pieces total. Total weight: 7.2 ozt.19th century.One 6" L.

Each with minor to moderate wear and surface scratches; Megear examples in excellent overall condition with full-point tips; remainder in good overall condition with some light dents to bowls, Shiebler with moderate dents to bowl.
