WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA STENCILED STONEWARE CANNER, salt-glazed,approximately half-gallon capacity, slight conical form with grooved wax-seal rim and Albany-slip glazed interior. Stenciled cobalt "A. Conrad & Co." above a grapevine, and "New Geneva. / Pa." below, additional brushed cobalt band and wavy line below rim.Alexander Conrad & Co., New Geneva, PA.1870-1882.8" HOA, 4 3/8" DOA rim.
