Description
temple architectural structure composed as follows: rectangular rosewood base decorated in the lower part with a motif of vertical grooves, the front inlaid with two eagle heads and with floral motifs; in the middle part, flanked by two marble columns with gilded wood bases and capitals, a clock with a circular white enamel dial, Roman numerals, golden spheres and a golden frame; pendulum regulator and hour, half-hour, and quarter-hour chime on bell. The upper shaped form cymatium, inlaid with two cornucopias and floral motifs, decorated with mother-of-pearl flowers. Inside the base there is a carillon with two melodies, respectively by Verdi and Doninzetti, as shown on the cartouche located on the inside of the rear door.Height x width x depth: 58 x 37 x 12.5cm.Item condition grading: **** good (clock to be serviced, pendulum missing, working music box).
