English Carved Mahogany Georgian Style Slant Front Desk, c. 1900, the rectangular top over a slant lid with a baize inset writing surface opening to an interior fitted with six drawers, a central cupboard with an interior drawer and two cubbyholes, and eight cubbyholes, over four graduated drawers, on a plinth base with bracket feet, H.- 43 in., W.- 46 1/2 in., D.- 22 1/2 in.

Condition consistent with age and use. Loss to finish on top center. Normal wear and tear with scuffs and scratches present throughout. Horizontal scratch on both sides. Four brass knobs off the interior drawers, three are present. Interior cupboard door has detached at bottom hinge, needs repair. Wear present to baize writing surface. A handsome example.
