Circa 1820 English Staffordshire Transfer Decorated Earthenware Platter, Piping Shepherd pattern, with a pastoral scene of a shepherd playing a flageolet flute to a milkmaid with sheep gathered around, unmarked/unknown maker (although a plate in this pattern was cataloged by Christie's as by Edward and George Phillips of Longport), 19 3/4" x 14 3/4". Good condition.
