Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of phoenix beside imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. Since the dragon and the phoenix usually serve as auspicious symbols, any reported sightings of a dragon or phoenix were considered extremely auspicious, heralding a glorious period of peace and prosperity for the people and the country. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
