Chinese Red Cinnabar Carved Celestial Vase On Carved Hardwood Stand. Carved in celestial shape vase, globular lower body, cylindrical neck, close mouth rim, raised on a short small round foot base slight concave. The body carved in detail of abundant flowers bloom, foliage and interlocking tendril surround the surface. The Cinnabar is smooth to the touch and is free of cracks or damage. Deep red color gives off a waxy sheen as the light dapples across its surface. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a Chinese calligraphy poems lettering gilt script characters reign mark. Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
