Cai Wenzhi born in Huanggang County, Hubei Province (Xinzhou District, Wuhan City). Graduated from the ninth period of the Whampoa Military Academy and the thirteenth period of the Army University. Lieutenant General of the National Revolutionary Army.

Wang Shensheng 汪慎生 (1896 - Nov 1972), named Rong, was born in Manchuan, Lidong Township, She County, Anhui (now Wang Mantian, Xitou Town). Therefore, the department is "manchuan villager". Youxi Danqing came to Shanghai to learn portrait painting at the age of 17, worked as an art teacher in Zhejiang primary school at the age of 19, and moved to Beijing at the age of 20 to sell paintings for a living. Since 1934, he has taught at Jinghua Academy of Fine Arts, the Department of Fine Arts of Beijing Fu Jen Catholic University, and Peking University. He had a close relationship with Zhang Daqian, and he lived in Wang Zhai several times all the way to Beiping. Fahua Xinluo, the master of painting, enjoys a high reputation in the Beijing painting circle for his small freehand flower and bird paintings. During the Republic of China, he was as famous as Chen Banding and Wang Xuetao. In 1954, he served as an associate researcher at the Institute of National Fine Arts of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 1957, he served as a painter and committee member of Beijing Chinese Painting Academy. Member of China Artists Association. The landscape is the patriarchal family of Huang Gongwang, the Shen and Zhou families, elegant and simple. He is good at poems and chants. The works have been selected for many domestic large-scale art exhibitions. In 1936, in a conversation between Zhang Daqian and Xu Beihong, Xu Beihong called Zhang Daqian "the first person in the painting circle in five hundred years". Hearing this, Mr. Daqian waved his hands quickly, and said in fear: "I can't paint Pu Xinshe and Wu Hufan for landscapes; I can't paint Yu Feiyin and Wang Shensheng for flowers and feathers; I can't paint Xu Yansun for figures and ladies." These remarks are definitely not words of self-effacing, but Mr. Xu's words are too beautiful. Mr. Daqian's words are enough to prove Wang Shen's artistic status in the painting circle. Published "Wang Shensheng Painting Collection". "Mao Zedong's Former Residence Collected Books and Artists' Gift Collection" includes his "Four Seasons and Changchun Picture", "Flowers and Birds Picture" and the "Hundred Flowers Blooming Picture", "Putian Celebration Picture" and "Fangfang Jieshou Picture" which he collaborated with Qi Baishi and others.Wang Xuetao 王雪涛 (1903 - 1982) was a Chinese Asian Modern & Contemporary artist who was born in 1903. Native of Hebei province. Wang attended Baoding Zhili Teachers College (保定直隸高等師範) and Peking College of Arts (北平藝術專科學校), later practicing painting under Wang Mengbai, Qi Baishi and Chen Banding. Master Wang XueTao was good at painting flowers & birds / insects, very influential to the coming Chinese brush painters.

Over all in EXCELLENT Condition. Natural imperfection on the medium (paper or silk), regardless from any major damages; includes light blooms, discoloration and minor fading. Consider normal due to the ages. Frame with normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents. Surface traced wear and or declined to gilding. Normal, consider ages and wear.
