Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Lotus Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, round mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.

Over all in EXCELLENT Condition. Natural Porcelain imperfection, minor scratches. NO Damage Visible, NO Crack, NO Hairlines, NO Chips.
