1962, ink signed on the colophon by the artist and poet and annotated 'EXAMPLAIRE 55' (from the edition of 100, there were also 20 hors commerce and an edition of 30 in Roman numerals with an additional suite), the full sheets, Aldo Crommelylnck, Paris, printer, Au vent d'Arles, Paris, publisher. The complete bound volume with 12 aquatints in colors on Richard de Bas handmade paper.

In largely good original condition. Pages have been lightly toned with time and all have deckled edges. Small spots of foxing present throughout but largely unobtrusive. Creases consistent with light handling present throughout. Shadowing present on image adjacent pages, presumably due to the nature of lithograph printing - Please see specialist photos for details. Final blank pages have slight undulation and rippled edges. Box shows signs of wear and age, but appears to be structurally sound.
