Significant Beverly Buchanan Colorful Fold Out "Denmark" Pencil Signed Born: 1940, Died: 2015. She was an African American artist known for sculptures, paintings and land art. Buchanan studied at the Arts Students League under Norman Lewis and Romare Bearden. Her works are owned by a long list of museums and private collectors today.
