Description
Late Bronze Age, Ca. 1200-500 BC. This engraved cylinder seal has a detailed pattern of horned quadrupeds (zebu bulls?) cut into it, creating an impression when rolled onto clay or wax. It also features a drilled hole at the end, allowing it to be strung onto a necklace or cord. Studied by PD Dr. habil.
